I am just a girl who finds solace in capturing snapshots of the lives of ordinary people doing ordinary and sometimes extraordinary things. I am trying to find a place in the world, a place with no strings attached, no lies or false pretenses, no lack of imagination and vision.
Writing, photography, music, the arts, and people are my passions. Someday, somehow, I will be able to find a career path that incorporates all of these things. Until then, I slave away aimlessly trying to catch my breath.
I obtained my BS in Psychology in 2005. Since then, I have been working in the social service industry. I love people. I have a heart for helping others and trying to make the best of the world that we live in. I am currently working on my Masters of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy.
I am a published author. My book, Ramblings From a Captured Heart, was published in 2004 through PublishAmerica. I am also an award winning photographer. My photo, Love, won 3rd Place- Color in the Southern Shutters 2007 competition hosted by the Clay House Museum in Madison, AL.
